Be Unlimited
Be Unlimited is now a subsidiary of O2 UK. It was originally established as an independent ISP in 2004, offering high speed Internet services based on ADSL 2+ technology to residential and business customers.
Be Unlimited's position has been overshadowed by the launch of the new O2 Broadband brand on 15 October 2007, which is now expected to be the main focus of O2's broadband strategy. O2 Broadband uses Be Unlimited's extensive LLU network.
Be Unlimited continues to expand its LLU network. As on 31 Dec 2007, the operator had 833 LLU exchanges with a coverage of 52% of the UK population. The operator plans to enable additional 400 LLU exchanges providing Be with a coverage of 67% of the UK population by end of June 2008.
